        A.  General.  This policy covers how the site treats personal information that the site collects and receives, including information related to your past use of the site products and services. Personal information is information about you that is personally identifiable like your name, address, e-mail address, or phone number, and that is not otherwise publicly available.

                1.  Collection.  We collect personal information when you register with the site, whether as an employer or recruiter, when you use the site’s products or services, when you visit site pages or the pages of certain site partners, and when you enter promotions. We may combine information about you that we have with information we obtain from business partners or other companies.

                2.  Information Sought.  When you register we ask for information such as your name, mailing address, physical address, e-mail address, employer, zip code, occupation, and industry sector. Once you register with the site and sign in to our services, you are not anonymous to us.

                3.  Transactional Data.  We collect information about your transactions with us and with some of our business partners, including information about your use of products and services that we offer.

                4.  IP Address and Cookies.  We automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP address, the site cookie information, and the page you request.

                5.  Use.  We use information about you for the following general purposes: to customize the advertising and content you see, fulfill your requests for products and services, improve our services, contact you, conduct research, and provide anonymous reporting for internal and external clients.

                6.  Children.  The site is not intended for the use of children.  We will not knowingly or intentionally collect information from children under the age of 18.

                7.  Job Candidates.  We will not disclose, distribute, or sell information you provide to the site about job candidates at any time, except that we may disclose or distribute such information to our affiliates at any time, without prior notice.

        B.  Information Sharing and Disclosure
                1.  Sharing of Personal Information. We do not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with other nonaffiliated people or nonaffiliated companies except to provide products or services you've requested, when we have your permission, or under the following circumstances:

                        (a)  We provide the information to trusted partners who work on behalf of or with the site under confidentiality agreements. These companies may use your personal information to help the site communicate with you about offers from the site and our marketing partners. However, these companies do not have any independent right to share this information.

                        (b)  We respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims;

                        (c)  We believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of the site's terms of use, or as otherwise required by law; and

                2.  Ad Targeting.  the site displays targeted advertisements based on personal information. Advertisers (including ad serving companies) may assume that people who interact with, view, or click on targeted ads meet the targeting criteria - for example, women ages 18-24 from a particular geographic area.  We do not provide any personal information to the advertiser when you interact with or view a targeted ad. However, by interacting with or viewing an ad you are consenting to the possibility that the advertiser will make the assumption that you meet the targeting criteria used to display the ad.


        A.  Rights Reserved.  We may set and access the site cookies on your computer.

        B.  This Policy Not Applicable to Other Companies.  We let other companies that show advertisements on some of our pages set and access their cookies on your computer. Other companies' use of their cookies is subject to their own privacy policies, not this one. Advertisers or other companies do not have access to the site's cookies.

        C.  Web Beacons.  We may use “web beacons” to access the site cookies inside and outside our network of websites and in connection with the site products and services.


        A .  Editing.  You can edit your Account Information on the site, including your marketing preferences, at any time.

        B.  New Categories.  New categories of marketing communications may be added to the site. Users who visit the site can opt out of receiving future marketing communications or they can unsubscribe by following instructions contained in the messages they receive.

        C.  Marketing and Newsletters.  We reserve the right to send you certain communications relating to the site’s services, such as service announcements, administrative messages or a newsletter, that are considered part of your account on the site, without offering you the opportunity to opt-out of receiving them.

        D.  Account Removal.  Please send an email to [email protected] requesting your account be closed.  Although we may close your account on the site, certain information about you may possibly remain in our archived records after your account is closed.


        A.  Limited Access to Information.  We limit access to personal information about you to employees who we believe reasonably need to come into contact with that information to provide products or services to you or in order to do their jobs.

        B.  Federal Compliance.   We have physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to protect personal information about you.

        C.  Protection.  Your Account Information on the site is password-protected.

        D.  SSL-Encryption.  In certain areas we use industry-standard SSL-encryption to protect data transmissions.


        We may update this policy. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary e-mail address specified in your account information for the site, or by placing a prominent notice on the site.
